magnus macfarlane Magnus has been a partner since 1978. He is a specialist in civil litigation and is an Associate of the Arbitrators' and Mediators' Institute of New Zealand and a qualified mediator.  Magnus has a strong presence in resolving commercial, public law, resource management (wind farm, odour and air discharges) and property relationship disputes. His experience includes appearances in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and as an arbitrator.
